The College at Brockport's women's lacrosse team dropped its second straight decision, falling to State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) rival Buffalo State 18-2 Tuesday afternoon on Coyer Field in Buffalo.

Dayna Piraino (Syracuse, NY/Henninger) each scored first-half goals for the Golden Eagles (8-5 overall, 5-2 SUNYAC).
Scordo staked Brockport to a 1-0 lead just 51 seconds in with an unassisted goal, her 19th goal of the season, before Buffalo State (11-4, 6-1 SUNYAC) responded with eight consecutive goals over a 10 minute, five-second span of the first half to take an 8-1 lead.
Piraino stopped the Bengals' run by scoring unassisted for her 15th goal with 16:43 remaining before halftime, but Buffalo State closed out the half on a 4-0 run and led 12-2 at halftime.
Twelve different players scored for the Bengals, who blanked Brockport 6-0 in the second half.
The Golden Eagles close out the regular season with a 2 p.m. Senior Day contest at home Saturday afternoon against Oneonta. The SUNYAC tournament runs May 6-7, with the top four teams qualifying for postseason play.
