Senior 
Kyheem Green (Huntington Station, NY/Walt Whitman) led a balanced offensive attack against Plattsburgh as The College at Brockport Men's Basketball team put together a solid second half to beat the Cardinals 87-67. The Golden Eagles improve to 10-7 in the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
Green finished with 12 points on the night as three other players reached double-figures. 
John Ivy (Rochester, NY/East), 
Jordan Major (Rochester, NY/Charlotte) and 
Lance Legister (Staten Island, NY/Millbrook School) all score ten points apiece. The Golden Eagles managed 30 points in the first half and clung to a four point lead at halftime, but thanks to a 57 point outburst in the second half, the Golden Eagles had no problem finishing off the Cardinals.
Brockport built their lead early on as the Golden Eagles spread out their offense. Legister connected on a shot from behind the arc to put Brockport up 13-4 seven minutes into the game. 
Gerald Williams (Rochester, NY/Charlotte) hit a three-ball to give Brockport its' largest lead of the half at 26-15 with 6:04 remaining. Plattsburgh managed to fight back towards the end of the half, bringing the game to 30-26 in favor of Brockport at the end of the first half.
Following a three-point shot by Plattsburgh in the opening seconds of the second half, Brockport went on a 14-5 lead to bring their lead back up to double-digits. Minutes later, with Brockport leading by nine, Major sank two free throws to Brockport ahead by double-digits for the rest of the game. Ivy hit a jumper at the 6:26 mark to give his team their largest lead of the night at 26. Plattsburgh never got within 16 points for the remainder of the game.
Brockport managed to empty their bench as all 15 players entered the stat sheet with 12 of them scoring at least two points. The Golden Eagles are now averaging 80.2 points per game which ranks second in the SUNYAC. Brockport used a stellar shooting performance in the second half to open the game up. Brockport connected on 20-36 shots from the floor, including 5-9 from three-point range as the team finished with a 50 percent field goal percentage. Of their 32 field goals, the Golden Eagles assisted on 20 of them.
With a win by Geneseo as well on Friday night, the Golden Eagles remain in a tie for fourth place in the conference standings. Buffalo State, currently in sole possession of third place, fell to Oswego which puts Brockport one game closer to hosting a first-round SUNYAC playoff game. Geneseo holds the tiebreaker against the Golden Eagles, but Brockport owns the tiebreaker with Buffalo State. The Bengals conference record is currently 11-6 as all three teams have one game remaining in the regular season.
The Golden Eagles final regular season game comes against Potsdam on Saturday afternoon for a 2:00 pm tip-off. Green, Williams, 
Kazeem Are (South Orange, NJ/Columbia), and 
Stephen Sisson (Ballston Spa, NY/Saratoga Springs) will all be honored in their final regular season game of their Brockport careers for Senior Day.
