The College at Brockport football team has announced its 2012 regular season schedule. The Golden Eagles will hold two home games in September, including homecoming weekend.
Brockport's season gets underway on the road at Lycoming College on September 1. The Golden Eagles will open up their home schedule the following week, September 8 against Buffalo State for the I-90 Bowl Game. Buffalo State will be a member of the Empire 8 conference for the 2012 season. On September 15, Brockport will play in its first conference game of the season on homecoming weekend against The College of New Jersey.
The following weekend, Brockport will travel to Kean University where the Golden Eagles will take on the defending NJAC Champions. Brockport defeated the Cougars last season when Kean was ranked No. 8 in Division III football by the score of 28-20.
Brockport finished the 2011 campaign with a 3-7 record. The team's other two wins came against Western Connecticut State and Morrisville. The Golden Eagles will play both teams at home this year, taking on Western Connecticut State on October 20 and Morrisville in the season finale on November 10 which is also Family Weekend and Senior Day.
Brockport's open week comes on October 27 and will travel to Montclair State the following weekend to take on the Red Hawks.
