Trailing 1-0 midway through the first quarter, Elliott found Countryman on a man-up opportunity for the freshman's second goal of the year. Oswego responded five seconds later with a goal to take back the lead, but Cook and Elliott each scored minutes later to give Brockport a 3-2 lead after one quarter of play.
Following a score from Oswego one minute into the second quarter, Cook and Elliott scored back-to-back goals again to take a two-goal lead. Oswego netted two scores in the final 3:16 of play as both sides went into halftime tied at five.
After Elliott gave Brockport a 6-5 lead with his third score of the day,

Riley Austin (Rochester, NY/Eastridge).
The Lakers opened the fourth quarter with two quick goals to tie the game at eight. Solid defensive performances from both sides kept the game even until Countryman scored with 1:30 to play.
