The College at Brockport softball team pounded out 21 hits on the road Sunday afternoon as the Golden Eagles swept Buffalo State 4-1 and 6-4 in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action.

With the sweep, Brockport improves to 10-2 in SUNYAC play this year. The Golden Eagles sit in first place in terms of winning percentage while Cortland, who swept New Paltz today, has an 11-3 record. The two teams will meet on April 26 for a doubleheader at the Clark V. Whited Complex.

Susanna Johnson (Edmeston, NY/Edmeston) singled to left field to score Yates for the first run. Harris then delivered a single to center field to score Rosenbarker and Dumas, giving the Golden Eagles the early 3-1 lead.
Yates picked up a sacrifice fly in the second inning, scoring Lazzaro from third. After two Buffalo State runs, Rosenbarker recorded her third home run of the year to give Brockport the 5-2 lead. Rosenbarker upped her batting average to .348 with her performance on Sunday, the second best mark on the team.
