Brockport Tennis Loses For First Time in 2013

Golden Eagles fall to conference rival Geneseo

Lauren Bohman had the best scores for Brockport in the loss to Geneseo

The College at Brockport Tennis team lost for the first time in 2013 after starting out with a 3-0 record as Geneseo defeated the Golden Eagles 9-0 in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) West match Tuesday afternoon in Brockport.

The Knights (3-0 Overall, 2-0 SUNYAC) won all three doubles matches with Rachel Lamont (Bloomfield, NY/Honeoye) and Lauren Bohman (Sayville, NY/Sayville) falling 8-2 for Brockport (3-1, 1-1) at No. 1 doubles and the team of Natasha Hale (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills/Ballston Lake) and Amy Kurmis (East Rochester, NY/East Rochester) falling by the same score at No. 2 doubles.

In singles competition, Bohman had the closest match for Brockport falling 6-2, 6-2 in the No.1 position.
