The College at Brockport Tennis team saw its record fall to 3-3 with a 9-0 loss to New Paltz Saturday afternoon in Brockport. For the Golden Eagles, it is the third straight loss after opening the season with three consecutive victories.
The Golden Eagles (3-3) lost all three double matches with the closest coming at No. 3 doubles where Sam Malak (Clinton, NY/Clinton) and Nicole DeRose (Rochester, NY/Greece Athena) dropped an 8-3 decision. The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams both fell by 8-2 scores for Brockport.
In singles play, it was Rachel Lamont (Bloomfield, NY/Honeoye) who had the closest match for the Golden Eagles as she fell by scores of 6-2 and 6-3.
Brockport continues the home stretch of match with a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) match against Oswego Monday.
