Senior Sarah Rosenbarker (Endicott, NY/Maine-Endwell) banged out six hits including a 4-for-4 game in the nightcap as The College at Brockport Softball team swept a doubleheader over Plattsburgh in a pair of State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) games Friday in Plattsburgh. The Golden Eagles scored on an error in the seventh inning to sneak out a 4-3 win in the opener and pounded out 14 hits in an 8-0 win in the nightcap.

Brockport (21-7 Overall, 10-4 SUNYAC) scored three times in the first three innings for the early lead in the opener but Plattsburgh (7-23, 3-11) rallied to tie the score with a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth.

In the seventh inning, Rosenbarker led off the inning with a double and Jordan Bush (Redwood, NY/Alexandria) came in as a pinch runner. Emily Dumas (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) grounded out but forced Bush to third. Amanda Yuhas (Hamburg, NY/Eden) reached base on a throwing error which also allowed Bush to score the eventual winning run.

In game two, Brockport scored twice in each of the first two innings for the early lead. Rosen Barker singled home a run in the first scoring Brianna Harris (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool). Harris and Rosenbarker each had run scoring hits in the second inning for a 4-0 Brockport lead.

Rosenbarker pushed home another run in the fourth with her third hit of the day and Harris added a two-run single in the fifth to push the lead to 7-0. Harris capped the scoring with a home run.

Both Rosenbarker and Harris finished with four hits and the duo combined for seven runs batted in. Harris scored three of Brockport's eight runs. Yuhas and Kelly Proper (Silver Springs, NY/Letchworth) had two hits each while Brianna Ferchen (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) scored twice.
