Golden Eagles suffer loss in cross-conference match on the road

Lauren Bohman put up the closest score in a 9-0 loss to New Paltz

Seniors Lauren Bohman (Sayville, NY/Sayville) and Rachel Lamont (Bloomfield, NY/Honeoye) had the closest match of the day for The College at Brockport Tennis team Saturday morning as the Golden Eagles dropped a 9-0 decision at New Paltz.

The match was originally scheduled for 1 pm but moved to 9 am to avoid an anticipated rain storm in the area.

Bohman and Lamont, playing at No. 1 doubles, fell by an 8-4 score. In singles play, Brockport was limited to just five game wins in the six matches.
