Brockport (4-2) scored five unanswered goals in the second half to secure its third consecutive win.  Hailey Boronczyk (Syracuse, NY/Corcoran) scored two goals less than five minutes apart as Andrea Zlinsky (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy) picked up assists on both goals.

With just over fifteen minutes to play Tassone found Jessica Boddery (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) in front of the goal as Brockport scored off of a free position.  The final two goals for the Golden Eagles were both unassisted as Tassone and Amanda Klein (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) connected.

Boddery got the scoring started for Brockport less than three minutes into the game with an assist from Tassone.  Twelve seconds later Makensie Schuber (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) tallied another goal for the Golden Eagles with an assist from Zlinsky who won the draw control for Brockport following Boddery's goal.

Brockport scored three goals in a little more than one minute during the first half to extend its lead to 8-3.  Schuber made a sharp pass to Zlinsky who quickly shot the ball, beating the goalie up top.  Less than twenty seconds later Tassone scored unassisted as she fired a rocket past the goalie.  Boddery capped off the streak with a low shot on a pass from Boronczyk.

William Smith (2-4) closed the gap between the two teams, by scoring five of the last seven goals in the first half. The Golden Eagles took a 10-8 lead to halftime.
