BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport football team had a special pre-game practice on Friday when they welcomed the honorary coaches from Camp Good Days in preparation for the 11th annual Courage Bowl.
The honorary coaches for Saturday's game include Simon Fendinger, Matthew Kubisty and Padraig Crowley. Fedinger is 12-years old, and attends Lakeshore Middle School in Eden, N.Y. Kubisty is 15-years old and attends JFK High School. Crowley is an 8-year old from Wheatland Chili.
The honorary coaches will also be joined by two cheerleaders. Aaliyah Akins and Sarah Bischoping will both be on the sidelines at Saturday's game. Akins is a 9-year old from the city of Buffalo, while Bischoping is 11-years old and from Rush Henrietta.
The Courage bowl will kick off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept 26 in East Rochester, N.Y. The annual game is dedicated to the children of Camp Good Days and Special Times.
