BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport football team will head to Philadelphia, Pa. this week as they face off against Washington and Jefferson College in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Presidents Bowl presented by N&D Sports, at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.  Kickoff is set for 8:15 pm on Friday, Nov. 18.

The College at Brockport Athletic Department has 300 tickets available for a reduced rate.  General Admission tickets will be available for purchase for $17 per person here.  Tickets are available for purchase now until 11:30 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 16.  Fans must pick up their prepaid tickets at the Brockport will call table between 7 and 8 pm on Friday.  Tickets purchased on site in Philadelphia will be sold for $20 per person.

The Golden Eagles closed out the regular season with an overall record of 7-3, and 6-2 in Empire 8 play.  Brockport is one of four teams from the conference that earned a postseason appearance.  The President's of Washington and Jefferson boasted an overall record of 8-2 and 6-2 in the President's Athletic Conference.

This will mark Brockport's first appearance in the ECAC postseason since 2013 when they beat Waynesburg University in the ECAC Northwest Bowl.  The contest will mark the first ever meeting between the two teams.

The matchup should be tightly contested, with Brockport averaging 37.80 points per game, and the President's averaging 37.50.  Washington and Jefferson has outscored their opponents 375 to 229, and averaged 445.9-yards per game.  Brockport averages 425.1-yards per game and has scored 378 points while holding their opponents to 267.  The Golden Eagles are no stranger to close games, with six of their regular season games being decided by seven points or less.

During the regular season, quarterback Joe Germinerio threw for 10 touchdowns and added nine on the ground.  The Wynantskill, N.Y. native tabbed 1,222-yards passing and 566-yards rushing.  Rochester, N.Y. native Dan Andrews led the Golden Eagles with 1,196-yards rushing, his fourth consecutive year reaching 1,000-yards rushing.  Andrews continues his climb atop the Brockport football record books, reaching 4,932-yards and 422 points in his career.

For the President's, Pete Coughlin has led the way with 2,651-yards passing and 31 touchdowns.  The senior averages 265.10-yards per game and has a 65.64 completion percentage.  Nick Murgo leads the defense with 86 tackles, including 47 solo.  The Washington and Jefferson defensive unit has held its opponents to 368.4-yards per game, and has allowed 28 touchdowns.
