BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport football team will head to Morrisville State College this weekend to take on the Mustangs in their final road game of the season with kickoff set for noon.

Brockport fell to third in the conference after a loss at No. 15 Alfred University last weekend.  The Golden Eagles boast a record of 5-3 overall and 4-2 in the conference.  The Mustangs have yet to win a game this season with an overall record of 0-8, and 0-7 in league play.

This weekend's matchup will mark the 10th meeting between the two teams with Brockport holding a 7-2 advantage.  The Golden Eagles also holds the lead in points by a tally of 366 to 231.

In last year's meeting at Brockport, Dan Andrews ran for 150-yards and scored five touchdowns.  Ian Gilhousen also hauled in a 37-yard catch for Brockport's sixth touchdown of the game.  Brockport won the high scoring game, 49-42.

On the defensive side of the ball, Alex Egglinger and Jake O'Connell led the way with 14 and 11 tackles respectively.  Egglinger tabbed two tackles for a loss of eight yards, plus one sack for a loss of seven yards.

This season, senior Dan Andrews has continued his climb in the Brockport football record books.  The Rochester, N.Y. native currently sits at 4,755 rushing yards and 398 points throughout his career.  Andrews is currently the nation's leader in active career rushing yards among Division III.  He reached 1,000-yards rushing for the fourth consecutive season and is nationally ranked in the top five of four categories.  Andrews ranks third in scoring (13.8), total touchdowns (18), and total points scored (108), while ranking fifth in rushing touchdowns with 16.

The Golden Eagles are ranked first in the nation in completion percentage with a tally of 71.9 percent.  Brockport still sits in a tie for second in blocked kicks allowed and blocked punts allowed with zero in each category.  The Green and Gold are sixth in third down conversion percentage (0.521), seventh in time of possession (35:00), and eighth in punt return defense (1.63).  Brockport ranks first in the Empire 8 in all of the previously mentioned categories.

Leading the Mustang offense is running back Darrell West who has 489-rushing yards and five touchdowns this season.  Quarterback Cory Benedetto has thrown for 1,078-yards on 184 attempts and has four touchdowns and nine interceptions.  Richardson Derosena leads the defense with 61 tackles including 31 for loss.  Tim Webber leads the Mustangs with two interceptions.

Brockport will return home next weekend on Nov. 12 for its regular season finale.  Prior to the start of the game, the Golden Eagles will honor its 15 seniors before taking on the Bengals of Buffalo State.  Kickoff is slated for 1 pm.
