BROCKPORT, N.Y. – John Countryman was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
 
Countryman helped lead the Golden Eagles to a win over Clarkson University in their only contest of the week. The senior captain led the offensive efforts with five goals on the day on just eight shots, including the game winner. Countryman also picked up one ground ball in the outing.
 
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on March 8, when they take on Rochester rivals, St. John Fisher College in East Rochester, N.Y.
