Brockport saw the Red Dragons connect again, but had the final say in the period when Cannon connected for his first score of the day to post a 5-2 lead to end the first quarter.

After Oneonta opened the second quarter with a goal, the Golden Eagles kept pace with a Giudice score for the lone goals of the period, as Brockport would take a 6-3 lead into the half.
