BROCKPORT, N.Y.- The College at Brockport women's basketball team fell in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play on Friday night, to No. 21 SUNY Geneseo by a score of 64-51.

With the loss Brockport falls to 7-14, 6-8 in SUNYAC play, while Geneseo remains unbeaten this season improving to 21-0 overall and 14-0 in league play.Â
 The Knights got off to a fast start in the opening period of play, scoring ten of the first 12 points to open up the contest. The Knights shot 47.1 percent, and held the Golden Eagles to just 26.6 percent from the floor. Brockport trailed at the end of the first frame 18-9. Â

Hannah Rehbaum got the Green Gold on the board first in the second period of play, ending a four minute drought, followed by a three point bucket by
Olivia LeBaron cutting the Knights lead to 26-14. Back-to-back buckets by
Emily Nestler brought The Brockport deficit to eight points, with just over four minutes remaining in the half. As time expired in the period
Megan Anagnostopulos pulled up from long range burying the three point basket making the score 32-26 in favor of the Knights at the break.Â
Nestler had a great opening half of play scoring a team-high eight points, on 4-for-6 shooting and pulling down five boards for the Green and Gold. Brockport outscored Geneseo in the second quarter of play 17-14, and shot 58.3 percent from the floor.Â
Midway through the third period of play Geneseo used a 10-0 run to extend their advantage to 47-31. Brockport went cold being outscored 22-7, and shooting only 22.2 percent from the floor as the Knights took a 54-33 lead into the final quarter of play.Â
With just over two minutes left in the game the Golden Eagles went on a 6-0 run, highlighted by back-to-back triples by
Brianna Neeley and LeBaron, bringing the score to 60-44 in favor of the Knights. Brockport ended the contest on a 5-0 run, Neeley knocked down her second three point basket of the frame, followed by a pair of free throws by
Cydney Adams. The Golden Eagles outplayed the Knights in the final quarter of play, outscoring Geneseo 18-10. Â
Nestler finished the game with 10 points, seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals for the Green and Gold. Rehbaum chipped in with six points and a team-high nine boards.
Lindsay Johnson added six points, on 3-of-5 shooting, pulling down six rebounds for the contest, and LeBaron finished the game with seven points and three helpers. Â
 The Golden Eagles return to action on Feb. 10, when they head to SUNY New Paltz. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.Â
