Davonte Jones and
Dwayne Daniel, the Green and Gold were able to maintain the lead for the next 12 minutes. The Cardinals never went away and forced lead changes and ties consistently in the final five minutes of the half. Three pointers by
Josh Nelson and
Montgomery Stroman were able to keep Brockport in the game and at half time the score was tied at 41a piece.
The Golden Eagles fell behind to start the second half, but a three by
Devante Hagins and two free-throw makes by
Justin Summers brought the team back, and they were down by a bucket with 15:28 on the clock. Brockport consistently cut off any Plattsburgh run with key scores by Jones and Hagins maintaining the deficit at two points and even tying the score at 72 with 6:36 on the clock.
