Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport women's soccer team won a crucial SUNYAC contest at home on Friday against Oneonta, 3-0. Brockport advances to 9-5-1 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
The last time Brockport won five conference games in a season was back in 2013, when the team made it to the SUNYAC Conference Semi-Finals. With nine wins on the season, Head Coach

After a scoreless opening half,
Kiley Longin struck first with a goal in the 58
th minute with the assist from
Camryn Pettit. A 1-0 lead was not enough for the Green and Gold, as
Sydnee Smith got in on the action later in the half. Smith scored in the 81
st minute, with Pettit notching her second helper of the match. Just moments later
Franchesca Polcaro would net the team's third of the game, as Smith was credited with the assist.
Goalkeeper
Kayla Usborne got the start in net and played her role perfectly to secure the shutout. Usborne made five saves in the 3-0 win, as Brockport makes it three straight victories. The team has now won five of its last six games and holds a 4-1 mark at home.
The Golden Eagles are back in action on Saturday for another home conference match. They will play host to the Hawks from New Paltz for a 1 pm start.
