The College at Brockport swim & dive teams travel to Ithaca College's Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium inside IC's Athletics and Events Center on Saturday to begin their 2019-20 campaign in a quad-meet against Ithaca, Fredonia and Buffalo State. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The Brockport women look to continue to build off a sixth place finish (score of 238) at last year's SUNYAC Championships at the Burt Flickinger Center in Buffalo, NY.
Take a Look at the Schedule: Brockport's 2019-20 schedule begins with five first half road trips to Ithaca, MCC, Potsdam, Oswego and Cortland. Brockport will then travel south to sunny Coral Spring, FL for its winter training trip January 2

th. The Golden Eagles will be excited to open the second semester at the friendly confines of the James B. Fulton Natatorium when they host consecutive home duals against Oneonta (Jan. 18
th) and Nazareth College (Jan. 22
nd). Brockport caps the regular season with one more road trip to Buffalo and one more home dual against Fredonia (Feb. 1
st). All of this is in preparation for the four day SUNYAC Championships which begin on Feb. 19
th, once again at the Flickinger Center in Buffalo. Qualifying student-athletes look forward to the NCAA Division III Championships beginning on March 18
th in Greensboro, NC. The Brockport divers will also have their sights set on the NCAA Diving Regional which begins on Feb. 28
th.
Program History: The College at Brockport introduced women's swimming as a varsity sport in 1967, and the Green and Gold joined the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) in 1984. Since then Brockport has had two swimming All-Americans, two diving All-Americans, 16 individual SUNYAC swimming champions, one SUNYAC diving title, and 20 All-conference selections since 2004.
Meet the Coaches: Brockport's swim and dive program has been led by Head Coach
Jason Morini since 2012. Morini took over as head coach following a successful eight-year career at Misercordia University in Pennsylvania. Morini is joined on the pool deck by '18 Buffalo State graduate
Tim Petranchuk and diving coach and former three-time All-American
Scott Horsington (Fredonia '08, Arizona State '09, Brockport '17).
Senior Leadership: The Golden Eagles will call upon its senior class to lead the way this season. This group includes captains
Haley Brucato and
Dee Logory, as well as
Kaitlin Dunning, diver
Loren Sayers and
Rebekah Wilkinson.
Dunning Back to Break More Records: Senior freestyle specialist
Kaitlin Dunning returns to the pool looking to secure All-SUNYAC honors in her final season. Dunning returns as the top short distance sprinter and she currently ranks third on the College's all-time list in the 200 free (1:59.35) and 100 free (54.52). She also ranks fourth on the all-time list with a time of 24.77 in the 50 free. All three of her record book performances came at last year's SUNYAC Championships. Dunning is also fourth all-time in the 500 freestyle after posting a time of 5:27.24 in her sophomore campaign. As a freshman she posted the fourth fastest 1000 freestyle time (11:28.77) and she also ranks third all-time in the 1650 free (19:10.54).
All-American Candidate: Loren Sayers returns to the diving board this season with All-American aspirations following a run into the NCAA Division III Diving Championships on the 1-meter and 3-meter board last season. Sayers punched her ticket to NCAA's after placing fourth on both the 1-meter and 3-meter board at the SUNYAC Championships last season. She now ranks second all-time at Brockport in the 3-meter dive after posting a score of 469.80 in the prelims at SUNYAC's last year. She also ranks fifth in the College's record book in the 1-meter after her score of 431.95 at championships in 2019. Sayers capped her strong season with a 23
rd place finish in the 1-meter and a 25
th place finish in the 3-meter at NCAA's.
Brucato's Senior Season: Senior captain
Haley Brucato returns this season looking to continue her climb to the top of the College's record books. She currently ranks ninth on the College's all-time list following her time of 1:03.60 in the 100 butterfly in 2018. Brucato competed in the 50, 100 and 200 fly at SUNYAC's last season and she was also a 19
th place finisher in the prelims at championships in the 200 individual medley last season (2:25.48).
Calling on Callaghan: Sophomore
Alexa Callaghan looks to build off a stellar freshman campaign this season. In her debut season she broke out at the SUNYAC Championships and notched her name in the College's record books in both the 50 free style and the butterfly. She holds the second fastest time in program history in the 200 butterfly after posting a time of 2:19.36 at SUNYAC's. She also ranks third on the program's all-time list with a time of 1:01.08 in the 100 butterfly. She will also contribute in the freestyle and currently ranks 10
th on the all-time list with a time of 25.51 in 50 free.
Relays: The Golden Eagles return all four members of the 400 medley relay team that holds the sixth fastest time in school history.
Dee Logory,
Allison Morrow,
Alexa Callaghan and
Kaitlin Dunning combined for a time of 4:10.40 at last year's SUNYAC Championships. Brockport also has four returners in the 400 freestyle relay as Callaghan, Morrow, Dunning and Wilkinson hold the 10
th fastest time in program history (3:43.37), posted at the SUNYAC Championships in 2019. Logory and Wilkinson will also return to the 800 freestyle relay team which posted the fifth fastest time in program-history at last year's conference championships (8:17.72).
Adding Depth: Sophomore
Allison Morrow adds great depth to the Golden Eagles roster and she currently holds the seventh fastest time in program-history in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.17). Junior
Cassandra Jannsen also returns for her third season at Brockport looking to have a breakout season in both the individual medley and the backstroke.
Deep Diving Squad: In addition to NCAA qualifier
Loren Sayers, the Golden Eagles will also return sophomore
Sami Cohen to the board this winter. Freshman
Alexiana Foster will look to contribute immediately as well.
