BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport men's lacrosse team fell to Nazareth College Monday evening, by a score of 18-6. The Golden Eagles move to 0-2 on the season, while the Golden Flyers improve to 1-2 on the year.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
- Brockport erased an early one-goal deficit in the first quarter to win the frame, 2-1, with scores from Nick Daigle and Billy Coppola.
- The Golden Flyers went on a six-goal run in the second quarter to send the Green and Gold into the half time break trailing, 7-2.
- Nazareth made it seven unanswered goals to start the third Quarter.
- Peter Scavone picked up a pair of goals to stop the Golden Flyers attack.
- Nazareth added another goal to try and halt the quick Brockport scores, but Scavone added one more to end the quarter, 10-5.
- The two teams traded a goal apiece to start the fourth quarter, Patrick Sheridan picked up the Brockport tally.
- Nazareth went on a seven-goal run to end the game.
