BROCKPORT, N.Y. –The College at Brockport women's lacrosse team defeated Rochester Institute of Technology Monday afternoon, by a score of 19-8. With the win, the Golden Eagles move to 7-1 overall, while the Tigers fall to 3-7 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
- The Golden Eagles wasted little time in the first half as Heather Conklin opened the flood gates 30 seconds into the frame and never looked back.
- Brockport went on a nine-goal run to start the first half.
- Julie Carballo picked up the second of the game, followed by Victoria Thompson, and a pair from Conklin, giving her a first half hattrick.
- Lyndsie Pratt scored for the Golden Eagles at 21:25 of the half followed by goals from Carballo, Thompson and Allison Jennings.
- The Tigers were able to stop the Brockport attack for a moment, picking up their first of the game with 12:58 remaining in the half.
- Thompson responded quickly for the Green and Gold, picking up her third of the game.
- Brockport allowed two more R.I.T. scores to bring the game within eight.
- The Golden Eagles buried a trio of goals to end the half leading, 13-3.
- Conklin picked up the 11th Brockport score of the day followed by Chloe Kurst and Carballo.
- Brockport started the second half with three more tallies as Carballo, Jennings, and Conklin extended the Brockport lead.
- The Tigers picked up a goal at 18:58 but Conklin responded with another Brockport tally moments later.
- The two teams traded a pair of scores to end the half, Hannah Cullen and Thompson picked up the tallies for the Green and Gold.
- The Tigers picked up the last goal of the game.

- The Golden Eagles forced 13 R.I.T turnovers.
- Conklin extends her scoring streak to eight games, picking up a double hattrick and adding an assist for seven points on the day.
- Freshman Allison Jennings (2g's-3a) five points on the day.
- Julie Carballo and Victoria Thompson tally four goals.
- Brockport extends their win streak to four games.
