Box Score BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport men's lacrosse team fell to SUNY Geneseo Wednesday afternoon, by a score of 12-5. With the loss, the Golden Eagles move to 5-8 on the season and 0-5 in conference, while the Knights improve to 6-9 and 3-2 in SUNYAC play.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
• The Golden Eagles fell into a four-goal hole as the Knights picked up the only points of the first quarter.
• The Green and Gold started the second quarter with an unassisted goal of their own from Jack Peterson, three minutes in.
• Corey Choberka found the cage for his 12th of the year, before Geneseo finished the half scoring four unanswered.
• The Golden Eagles headed into the half-time break trailing, 9-2.
• Brockport allowed two more Geneseo tallies to start the third quarter.
• Brendan Halleran halted the Knight's attack with the Golden Eagles third and fourth goals of the game.
• Jacob Recor followed with his 10th goal of the season.
• The Knights quickly replied with one of their own with three minutes left in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 12-5.
KEY STATISTICS –
• CJ Parker led Brockport with six ground balls.
• The Golden Eagles finished with 27 shots.
• Halleran finished the day with two goals on four shots.
• Michael Coletti forced three turnovers leading the defense.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, April 27 when they host Plattsburgh State for their annual senior day, game time is set for 1 p.m.
