Canton, NY – The College at Brockport women's soccer team hit the road to face St. Lawrence for the first match of the season. The host Saints defeated the Golden Eagles, 2-1, with a goal coming late in regulation.
St. Lawrence struck first with a goal at the 35:14 mark in the first half, going up 1-0 before halftime. Freshman forward
Kiley Longin would net the equalizer early in the second half, recording the first goal of her collegiate career.
In the 88
th minute of the match, the Saints found the back of the net once again to secure the 2-1 victory over Brockport. The Green and Gold start the year 0-1, with another game scheduled for tomorrow.

Kimberly Lubanski made nine stops in net for the Golden Eagles in the loss.
Brockport is on the road again Saturday with a matchup against Clarkson University. The game is set to begin at 2:30 pm.
