Box Score Churchville, NY – After opening the year with two straight wins, The College at Brockport women's tennis team lost its first contest of the season on Sunday, 5-2, as the Golden Eagles traveled to nearby Roberts Wesleyan College. 

Elizabeth Bean and Phoebe Morse each posted victories at fifth and sixth singles to account for Brockport's two team points. Bean earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory while Morse collected one team point with a 6-1, 6-2 win at sixth singles.

Brockport (2-1) travels to St. John Fisher College next Friday to take on the Cardinals in non-conference action at 4 p.m. Sunday's match against Roberts Wesleyan was played under Division II rules.
