Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport women's tennis team hosted Fredonia on Saturday to open up SUNYAC play. The visiting Blue Devils got the win, 6-3, as the Golden Eagles move to 2-2 on the season with a 0-1 mark in the conference.

Caroline Stewart and
Heather Phillips teamed up for a win in the first flight. The pair earned the match point by a set score of 8-7.
Elizabeth Bean won her matchup in fifth singles with set marks of 6-4 and 6-2. In the sixth singles slot
Eddiena Chaney defeated Fredonia's Avril King in three sets. Chaney won the tiebreaker set 10-5.
The Green and Gold are at St. John Fisher Sunday to resume play from the previously postponed match that originally started on Sept. 6
