Huntingdon, PA – The College at Brockport women's soccer team dominated Juniata College on the road Saturday afternoon, winning by a score of 8-1. The victory featured eight different goal scorers, as the team improves to 4-3-1 on the season.
Camryn Pettit opened up the game with a score in the 13
th minute, with an assist from Sydnee Smtih, to give the Green and Gold a 1-0 lead.
Kiley Longin and
Fiona Stockdale would each find the back of the net as well in the opening half, as Brockport ended the first half with a 3-0 advantage.
Less than five minutes into the second half,
Franchesca Polcaro found
Marissa Greiner to give the team a 4-0 lead. Juniata would answer with a goal of its own shortly after, making the score 4-1. The Golden Eagles would add goals from
Ellen Walpole,
Molly Zientek,
Julia Mascaro, and
Lara Kanbur.
Sydnee Smith would get her second assist of the game, while Longin and
Kayla Bailey would also tally an assist on the way to an 8-1 victory.

Kayla Usborne made two saves in the win before senior
Kimberly Lubanski took her place in the second half. Brockport has now won two games in a row, with SUNYAC play coming up.
This was the most goals the Golden Eagles have scored all season, and have outscored their opponents 10-1 over the last three contests. The team outshot Juniata 26-7 in the game, and drew six more corner kick opportunities.
The Green and Gold return home on Friday, September 27
th to face SUNY Cortland for the first conference match of the season. Kick-off is set for 4 pm.
