Geneva, NY – The College at Brockport women's tennis team sent four players to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Tournament, hosted by William Smith College, this weekend.
Phoebe Morse and
Sarah Mahar were both competing in singles play at the tournament, while the duo of
Elizabeth Bean and
Linda Coleman-Lawrence took part in the doubles competition.
Mahar fell in the opening round of the tournament to Zoe Davis from Ithaca College 6-1, 6-0.
Morse lost 6-1, 6-0 to Maya Lal from Skidmore College in the first round of play as well.
Bean and Coleman-Lawrence fell to the No. 2 seeded pairing from Vassar College of Frances Cornwall and Tara Edwards, 8-0, in round one.
The Golden Eagles are on the road Tuesday, September 24
th as they take on Houghton College at 4 pm.
