The SUNY Brockport swim & dive program competed on day two of the Cougar Splash Invitational hosted by Misericordia University in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Following the third session of events, the women finished the weekend in second place in the five team field with 479 points, while the men's team scored 311 points to take third place.
The Brockport women sat in second place out of five teams after the Saturday morning session with 327 team points, while the men's team was in third place with 211 points.
Brockport's Corinne Wilson, Allison Morrow, Bri Owen and Elizabeth Sagan teamed up for a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.82 to kick off the day for the Golden Eagles.
Morrow cruised to a convincing win in the 400 individual medley with a personal best time of 4:54.63 to earn 16 more team points for the Golden Eagles. Nicole Orcutt edged out Misericordia's Kate Bernauer in the women's 200 yard freestyle to earn first place with a time of 2:00.81. Sawyer Parker placed this in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:05.59.
Brockport's 800 yard freestyle relay team of Nicole Orcutt, Sawyer Parker, Allison Morrow and Elizabeth Sagan dominated the competition with a time of 8:14.01 to earn 32 team points for the Golden Eagles.

Ryan Sampson placed third in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:44.46.
Chan added a fourth-place finish in the men's 100-yard butterfly with a personal best time of 57.66. Dragojevic added a second-place finish and 13 points with a time of 1:00.58 in the men's 100 yard breaststroke.
Coming back later in the day for the third and final session of the weekend-long competition, the Golden Eagles had several other top-notch performances.
Freshman Elizabeth Sagan swam a time of 54.24 in the finals of the 100-yard freestyle event to take first place, scoring 16 points towards the women's team score. Allison Morrow earned another first place finish for the weekend in the 200-yard breaststroke with her finals time of 2:31.03, adding 16 more points for the squad.
Oliver Dragojevic snagged 13 points for his second place finish in the men's 200-yard breaststroke event, clocking in at 2:15.71. Nicole Orcutt was third in the 200-yard butterfly on the women's side to score 12 points for the Green and Gold.
Sagan, Morrow, and Orcutt were joined by Sawyer Parker in the women's 400-yard freestyle relay event. They crew finished with a season-best time of 3:42.89, adding 32 points to Brockport's total for the women.
The Golden Eagles will have the chance to rest and refresh for the remainder of the 2021 calendar year, as they do not compete again until January 14th, 2022. They will get back to dual meet competition, traveling to take on Buffalo State for a 4 pm start time.
