Brockport, NY – The No. 16 Brockport Women's Lacrosse team won its fourth straight on Saturday, defeating Fredonia 20-1. The team is now 4-2 overall and 3-1 in SUNYAC competition.

Heather Conklin found the back of the net for the 185
th time for her career, breaking the all-time program record for goals in a career. Conklin surpasses
Kelly Wall's mark of 184 which was set in 2017.
Cassidy Burnash had a career day with five goals, giving her 16 on the season so far.
Heather Conklin and
Allison Jennings each had five points on the day. Conklin registered four goals and one helper, while Jennings tallied three goals and two assists.
Less than a minute into the contest, Conklin scored the goal which rewrote history, as she became the all-time career leader in goals scored for the women's lacrosse program. The Green and Gold would open the game up with a 7-0 lead. The team finished a dominant first half with a 13-1 advantage over the visiting Blue Devils.

Cassidy Burnash each scored three goals in the opening half of play. Brockport outshot its opponent 23-3 in the half, placing 18 shots on goal.
The Golden Eagles would continue to control the game throughout the second half. They would add seven more scores to take a large lead, that would stay. Brockport cruised through the finish line to secure a 3-1 record in the conference. The 19-goal victory marks the largest margin of victory this season.
Goalkeeper
Morgan Elmer made four saves as the starter in net, earning the win after 49:12 of playing time.
Erin Lant entered the game late, spending 10:48 in the cage for Brockport.
Lyndsie Pratt led the team with seven draw controls, three caused turnovers, and even scored her first goal of the season.
Danielle Hemly and
Anna Leva contributed well all over the field against Fredonia. Hemly recorded two goals, one assist, and three ground balls. Leva had three assists and scooped up three ground balls.
Kassidi Kirkpatrick found the back of the net for her first career goal in the win.
Makayalla Farino scored the lone goal for Fredonia, getting the assist from Erin Woods. The Blue Devils are now 0-5 overall and 0-3 in SUNYAC play. Emily Carr and Sydney Booth combined for 12 saves in net for Fredonia.
The Golden Eagles are back in action on Wednesday for a huge SUNYAC matchup against Geneseo. The game will be at home, starting at 4 pm.
