Brockport, NY- The SUNY Brockport men's lacrosse team will travel to SUNY Cortland on Tuesday April 13
th, for a 4 p.m. start before hitting the road again on Friday April 16
th to Oswego where they'll meet the Lakers for the second time this season (4 p.m. start).

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles lost to Geneseo in their last game, 16-7.
Peter Scavone got the first score of the game for the team to take an early lead, but the visiting Knights were up for the task. Geneseo answered quickly and would control the remainder of the contest.
Jack Peterson and
Liam O'Connor each recorded three points in the loss.
Bouncing Back: Brockport is now 1-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play this season. The team is currently 1-0 in games following a loss. The Green and Gold fell to Alfred, 8-7, in the season opener and then bounced back in the next game with a 12-5 win over Oswego. Tuesday marks another opportunity for a big bounce back win against a conference opponent. They have four contests remaining on their regular season schedule, including upcoming contests against Cortland, Oswego and Geneseo.
Offensive Production: Jack Peterson leads the team with seven total points, coming from a team-high five goals and two assists.
Liam O'Connor has a team-best four assists to go with his two scores for a total of six points. With three goals and two helpers,
Brandon Sveda rounds out the top three point scorers on the squad.
Rocco Santillo is second on the team with four goals scored so far.
Hustle Plays: Leading Brockport in both caused turnovers and ground balls,
Aidan Fitzgerald has been getting it done defensively with his effort. Fitzgerald has scooped up 11 ground balls and caused nine turnovers so far this season.
Jahadi Prior has caused six turnovers, while
James Mirabell and
Max Riley have five each.
Ethan Stiles has currently won 25 of his 46 face-offs (.543%), and has scooped up six ground balls.
In the Cage: John Felice has been the starter in net for all three games that have been played. Going against 81 shots, Felice has made 18 saves for the Green and Gold.
Cameron Kuzniar saw his first action of the season against Geneseo, making three saves in his debut.
Looking at Cortland: The Red Dragons are entering the contest with a 3-3 record overall and a 1-1 mark against SUNYAC opponents. They most recently dismantled Oswego, 16-7, on the road. Dante Yacavone leads the team with 20 points on 13 goals and seven assists. Zak Jones is the top Cortland goal scorer, tallying 15 so far in 2021. With 75 saves coming against 222 shots faced, Marc Esposito is the starting goalie for Cortland and owns a .581 save percentage.

Rocco Santillo led the Golden Eagles offense in goals, scoring three apiece. Peterson had a career high day with four points (three goals, one assist). 10 different Golden Eagles registered at least one point on the afternoon with eight of them finding the back of the net. Lucas Cioch leads Oswego in points (five) with two goals and three assists in two games. In the crease, Kevin O'Donnell has allowed 28 goals on 95 shots faced.
