Brockport, NY – The No. 15 Brockport women's lacrosse team is at home on Wednesday for a SUNYAC matchup with Oswego. Game is set to begin at 4 pm.

SUNYAC Award Winners: Heather Conklin and
Morgan Elmer were announced as the winners of the SUNYAC Offensive & Defensive Players of the Week on Monday. Both were vital for Brockport in a 3-0 week that improved its record to 7-2 overall and 6-1 in conference play. Conklin scored 18 goals in three games, while Elmer totaled 21 saves to lead the Green and Gold.
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles were on the road for a 22-9 win over Oswego, which extended their winning streak to seven games. A huge 15-4 scoring outburst in the opening half paved the way for the convincing victory.
Heather Conklin led the way with eight points on six goals and two assists.
Lighting it Up: Heather Conklin has been on fire all season, registering at least five points in six straight contests and reaching eight points on three separate occasions. In just the month of April she has scored 27 goals and totaled 33 points. She recently made her mark in the history book by become the all-time leading goal scorer in program history and reaching the 200-career goal milestone. She currently leads the SUNYAC in goals (39) and points (48).
Watch Out for Strough: Natalie Strough has continued her breakout season, leading the team with 28 assists. She has tallied at least three total points in eight consecutive games, including an 11-point outing against Buffalo State. Strough leads the SUNYAC in assists and her total of 42 points ranks second in the conference.
Protecting the Nest: Morgan Elmer has been a stone wall in the cage for Brockport, starting at goalie for all nine matchups. She is the top goalkeeper in the SUNYAC, leading the conference in saves (79), save percentage (.581) and in goals against average (7.47). In the team's big win over Geneseo, Elmer tied her career-high of 17 saves.
Moving Up: The Golden Eagles have jumped up two spots in the IWLCA DIII Coach's Poll. After coming in at 17th last week, they are now voted in at 15th in the country. A win over nationally ranked Geneseo was key in climbing the rankings, as Brockport is now ranked highest out of the three nationally recognized SUNYAC teams.
Against Oswego: The Lakers are currently 4-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play. After falling to Brockport the team bounced back with a 14-4 win over Buffalo State. Sela Wiley leads the team with 27 goals and 33 points. Delaney Kendrick is the goalkeeper and has made 45 saves for Oswego this season.
