Brockport, NY – The No. 15 Brockport women's lacrosse team will host No. 19 William Smith College this Saturday for its final regular season contest. It is Senior Day, as there will be a short ceremony for the seniors prior to a 1 pm start.

Senior Day: The graduating class will be recognized prior to Saturday's game to thank and congratulate them. The following players are all to be celebrated this weekend:

Last Time Out: Brockport defeated Oswego, 20-8, earlier in the week at home. The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 10-1 lead in the first 20:12 of action and never looked back.

After starting the season 0-2, the Green and Gold have been gold ever since. In this eight game win streak the team has scored at least 15 goals seven times, and has broken the 20-goal mark five times.
SUNYAC Leaders: Heather Conklin,
Natalie Strough, and
Allison Jennings are all among the leaders in the SUNYAC, ranking first, second, and fourth respectively in points this season. Leading the conference with 44 goals scored, Conklin also leads the SUNYAC with 54 points this season. Strough is second in the conference with 47 points, while she leads the league with 31 assists. Morgan Elmer is one of the top goalies in the conference and has the numbers to back it up. She has the highest save percentage of .589 in the SUNYAC, and her 86 saves ranks second.
Locked Up: The nationally-ranked No. 15 SUNY Brockport women's lacrosse team has secured the top seed in the SUNYAC West following a convincing 20-8 victory at home against Oswego State on Wednesday afternoon. The Golden Eagles have earned the No. 1 seed in the West division and will host the No. 2 seed from the East division for the SUNYAC Conference Tournament Semifinals on April 29
th.
National Matchup: Saturday's matchup includes two of the top 20 teams in the country according to the IWLCA's most recent DIII Coaches Poll. Brockport came in at No. 15 this week, while the William Smith Herons sit at No. 19. This marks the fourth top 25 matchup for the Green and Gold this season, as the team has already faced Geneseo twice and Ithaca.
Scouting the Herons: No. 19 William Smith enters the contest 6-3 overall and 6-2 in the Liberty League. The Herons have won four straight games after most recently taking down RIT, 12-8. Maddie Montgomery leads the team with 32 points on 28 goals and four assists. Maddie Bamberger is the starting goalkeeper, holding a .430 save percentage and a total of 46 saves this season.
