Brockport, NY- The Brockport field hockey team will return to action Wednesday, September 29th, hosting Houghton for a 7:15 p.m. start time. Brockport (4-4, 0-1 SUNYAC) will look to get back on track against the Highlanders (3-4, 2-1 Empire 8) in the non-conference matchup. Following Wednesday night's game, the Golden Eagles will look ahead to Saturday, October 2nd where they'll host SUNY Cortland in a conference matchup.

Susan Hoffman Day on Saturday, September 4th. leading the offensive for the Highlanders has been Jace Hunzinger who's recorded 16 points from five goals and six assists this season with Deborah Cross and Peyton Bentley having five goals on the year as well. As the primary goalkeeper for Houghton, Sofia Gildemeister (2-4) has started in all seven games this season while recording 35 saves.

Looking at The Red Dragons: Cortland has remained undefeated for the first eight games of its season with conference wins over Oneonta and reigning 2019 SUNYAC champions SUNY Geneseo. Before the Red Dragons face the Golden Eagles, they'll take on St. Lawrence on Wednesday, September 29th.
