NEW PALTZ, NY – The SUNY Brockport field hockey team lost to the defending SUNYAC Champion New Paltz Hawks in a conference matchup Saturday evening by a score of 7-0.
The Golden Eagles only recorded one shot while making 14 saves in the contest.
Gianna Salerno recorded Brockport's only shot in the game while
Emmalee Moore recorded a defensive save for the Green and Gold.
Ella Buchanan spent the full 60:00 minutes in goal for Brockport while making a total of 13 saves in the contest.
The Golden Eagles will now turn their attention to the University of Rochester when they'll travel to take on the Yellowjackets Tuesday, October 4
th at 4:00 pm. Brockport will then host Morrisville for a blackout on Friday, October 7
th at 6:00 pm. All fans are encouraged to wear black to the Green and Golds' first home night game of the season.
