Rochester, NY - The SUNY Brockport field hockey team lost to the University of Rochester, 4-1, in a non-conference road matchup on Tuesday. Brockport is now 5-5 overall and 0-2 in SUNYAC play this season.
The Golden Eagles notched their lone score of the contest in the fourth quarter, as
Olivia Hayden scored her first goal of the season.
Kalena Eaton was credited with the assist, her second of the year.

Ella Buchanan put forth a strong effort in goal, making 18 saves in the match.
The Yellowjackets got on the board twice in the first quarter, allowing them to hold a 2-0 lead going into halftime. Rochester was able to add two more scores in the third quarter to secure a 4-0 advantage.Â

Olivia Hayden received an assist from
Kalena Eaton on her fourth quarter score to make it a 4-1 game. However, the squad was unable to mount a comeback late, falling on the road to the Yellowjackets.
The Golden Eagles return to their home field on Friday night for a SUNYAC matchup against Morrisville. The game is scheduled to begin at 6pm on Dr. Linda Arena Field.
