BROCKPORT/PITTSFORD, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's volleyball team lost it's the first match of the day at home against Ithaca by a score of 3-0. The Golden Eagles then traveled to Nazareth in the afternoon where they defeated Russell Sage College 3-0.
Ithaca Game Stats:
The Golden Eagles tallied 52.0 points, 41 kills, 39 assists, 53 digs, six aces, and five blocks while the Bombers recorded 48.0 points, 32 kills, 30 assists, 55 digs, five aces, and 11 blocks. Brockport had 26 total errors in the match to Ithaca's 14 errors.
- Myah Frostclapp led the Green and Gold's offense with 12 points in the match from 10 kills, two block assists, and one solo block.
- Andrea Coyle and Alexis Sison recorded 10 points in the match as both had nine kills and one service ace.
- Jordan Thompson finished the match with nine points from six kills, two service aces and two block assists.
- Thompson also led the team in digs with 17 in the match.
- Ashley Allen had the most set assists against the Bombers with 21 while Kerri McHale had 14 set assists
Russell Sage Game Stats:
The Green and Gold traveled to Nazareth college in the afternoon to take on Russel Sage College. In the match, Brockport recorded 60.0 points, 40 kills, 15 aces, five blocks, 36 assists, and 29 digs. The Gators recorded 23 points, 16 kills, 5 aces, two blocks 14 assists, and 21 digs.

- Myah Frostclapp led the Golden Eagles in their second match of the day with 10 points from seven kills, two service aces, and one solo block
- Jordan Thompson and Alenna Williamson each recorded 7.5 points. Thompson tallied four kills, three service aces, and one block assist. Williamson had five kills, two solo blocks, and one block assist.
- Julia Reedy tallied 7.0 points from seven kills and one error for a .429 hitting percentage.
- Eight Golden Eagles finished with above a .300 hitting percentage made up of Kerri McHale (1.000), Jayda Pyle (.833), Jordan Thompson (.571), Myah Frostclapp (.556), Julia Reedy (.429), and Ashley Allen (.364)
What's Next: The Golden Eagles will next host two conference matchups next weekend for Homecoming. Brockport will hold its senior night on Friday, October 7
th at 6:00 pm against Oswego State before hosting defending SUNYAC Champions SUNY Cortland during homecoming on Saturday evening at 1:00 pm.
