Brockport, NY- The SUNY Brockport men and women's cross-country team will travel to Rowan University on Saturday. Brockport heads down to Glassboro, New Jersey to compete at the Inter-Regional Border Battle at Dream Park in Logan Township.
Follow Along: The women's 6k championship race will start the action at 11am, followed by the men's 8k championship at 11:45. At 12:30pm the women's open 6k will begin, while the men's open 8k will begin at 1:15pm to close out the day. Live results throughout the day can be found at the following link:

Runner of the Week: Earlier this week Ethan Wyman was named the SUNYAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. At the Highlander Invitational he was the first to cross the finish line for Brockport in the 8k. He placed 16
th in the race, posting a personal-best time of 26:59.4.
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles traveled to compete at the 2022 Highlander Invitational on October 8, 2022. The women finished in sixth place (162 pts) out of nine teams, and the men took sixth (158 pts) out of ten teams.
On the men's side of the action, the 8k race featured 123 runners.
Ethan Wyman was the first to cross for Brockport, coming in 16
th at 26:59.4 to score 16 points.
The next finisher for the Golden Eagles was
Miguel Benito, coming in 32
nd with a new personal record finish of 27:33.5. Freshman
Chris Cammisa also set a new personal best placing 40
th with a time of 27:50.7.

Maeve Robarge was the first finisher for the Golden Eagles, coming in 29
th with a personal-best time of 24:49.2. Sophomore
Olivia Furman was Brockport's next finisher, coming in 32
nd with a time of 25:05.8.
Lucia Sibley was the third finisher for the Golden Eagles at 37
th, crossing with a personal-record time of 25:16.6. Freshman
Esther Nankumba finished just after, posting a new personal best 6k time of 25:17.7.
SUNYACs Next: This weekend's Border Battle at Rowan will be the last competition before the conference championship meet. The Golden Eagles will be traveling to SUNY Oswego on October 29
th to compete at the SUNYAC Championships.
