Fredonia, NY – On Friday night the SUNY Brockport volleyball team defeated Fredonia, 3-1, on the road. Brockport's win improves its record to 17-5 overall and 7-1 in the SUNYAC.
 
The Golden Eagles took the first set of the match, 25-19, and that would be the largest margin of victory on a set for the night. Fredonia bounced back to make it 1-1 after a 25-21 win in the second set. Brockport took the next two 25-21, 25-20 to win the match, 3-1.
 
Myah Frostclapp led all players in the contest with 13.5 total points. She led the Green and Gold with 11 kills and totaled three blocks defensively. Andrea Coyle had seven kills and a team-high 20 digs.
 
Freshman Alexis Sison also had seven kills for Brockport to go with seven digs. Jordan Thompson contributed with three aces while on the serve.
 
Madalyn Bowen came up with 19 digs as the defensive specialist. for the Green and Gold. With 17 assists, Kerri McHale led the squad in assists. Ashley Allen was close behind with 15 assists in the match.
 
The Golden Eagles are back in action on Saturday for another conference matchup. They are on the road for a battle with Buffalo State at 4pm on October 22^nd.
