Binghamton, NY - The SUNY Brockport women's tennis team faced off against Plattsburgh State on Thursday at the Lane Tennis Center in SUNYAC action. Brockport came up short on the day, falling to the Cardinals by a score of 7-2.
Eliza Gonzalez snagged one of the team's two points on the day in her first singles matchup. She took the match point in two sets 6-0, 6-2. This would be the lone point the Green and Gold earned from singles competition.
Gonzalez teamed up with
Olivia Raschiatore to compete in the first doubles slot. The pairing got the win together, 8-2, playing doubles as a team for the first time this season.
The Golden Eagles are now 2-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play this season. They are back on the courts Friday for another SUNYAC matchup against Oneonta, starting at 3pm down in Binghamton, NY.
