Alfred, NY – The SUNY Brockport wrestling team improved to 1-1 in duals on Saturday, defeating Alfred State, 32-10. Brockport got wins in seven of the 10 bouts.
 
The Open Mat DIII Wrestling's 11^th ranked 133-pounder, Matt Caccamise also got the win on the day, 10-2.
 
Elijah Sims looks to climb up from 10^th on the rankings for the 149-pound weight class after a pin in the second period of his match.
 
Michael Sullivan, ranked 11^th in DIII, matched his teammate with a pin in the second.
 
At 125, Liam Bullock dominated his matchup for the tech fall win, 17-2.
 
In the 165-weight division, Matthew Kline earned a, 10-2, victory.
 
Jared Zenie added a win for the Green and Gold at 197. He defeated his matchup, 11-3.
 
Joe Yanis battled for a, 3-1, triumph in the 285 division.
 
The Golden Eagles get back to work in preparation for the Hunter College Tri-Meet. They will compete on Saturday, January 7^th against New Jersey City University and the host, Hunter College.
