SUNY Brockport long stick midfielderÂ
Aidan Fitzgerald was named the SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week in a release by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Fitzgerald recorded a total of 22 ground balls over the course of three games last week, including 10 against Keuka and five against nationally ranked No. 14 John Carroll on Saturday. The senior from Calverton, NY also recorded 12 caused turnovers in three games. He added one point on an assist against Keuka.

Rocco Santillo of the Golden Eagles was named the SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Week in a release by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Santillo recorded 11 points over the course of three games for the Golden Eagles (nine goals and two assists) last week. He registered four goals in the overtime loss at nationally-ranked No. 14 John Carroll this past Saturday.

The Golden Eagles have been outplaying their opponents so far this season having scored a total of 103 goals and 61 assists on its opposing teams whereas other teams have only scored 51 goals and 31 assists against Brockport's defense. Ethan Stiles leads the Green and Gold in ground balls as the fifth year senior has scooped up 39 total ground balls. He also leads Brockport is faceoffs as he holds a wins-loss record of 92-48 for a .657 faceoff percentage.

John Felice is Brockport's starting goaltender as the senior from port Jefferson Station has started in all six games in the crease this season. He's spent a total time of 254:45 in net and has made 35 saves allowing 42 goals against 119 shots faced.

Looking at New Paltz
The Hawks are currently 1-5 where the team saw its first victory in its most recent game against Manhattanville on Wednesday, March 23rd where New Paltz beat the Valliant's by a score of 10-9. John Reese leads the team in goals and points as with 14 goals and four assists he's totaled for 18 points this season. James Flanagan is the teams assist leader as he's recorded six assists and 10 goals for a total of 16 points. Tim Russell leads the defense in caused turnovers as the defender has 10 caused turnovers, and 15 grounds balls this season. Zachary Leung and Joseph Bradbury lead the team in ground balls as each have recorded 18 this season along with six caused turnovers.

Nate Lindsey has started all games for New Paltz in net where he's allowed 36 goals and made 39 saves on 132 shots faced. Ryan Steinhart as seen an even amount of time in net as the duo split playing time per game with Lindsey being the starter and Steinhart taking over for the remaining 30-minutes of play following halftime. This season Steinhart has allowed 28 goals against 145 shots while making 61 saves.
