Rochester, NY – The No. 14 SUNY Brockport women's lacrosse team got back in the win column on Saturday, 12-9, against No. 21 St. John Fisher.
Claire Odett registered her second straight hat trick, scoring three goals as Brockport improves to 3-2.
Odett led the team with four ground balls and has now found the back of the net seven times in the last two outings.
Alayna Foos recorded the second hat trick of her young career, scoring three goals in the contest.
Courtney Cunningham was all over the place to rack up four draw controls, four caused turnovers, and three ground balls.
Logan Hibbard tallied three points on two goals and one assists.

Danielle Hemly and
Cassidy Burnash finished with two goals on the day.
Allison Jennings dished out two assists. Goalie
Morgan Elmer came up with eight saves during the victory.
The hosting Cardinals got on the board first with a goal just 1:33 into the game. They would trade goals back and forth with Brockport to start, as the score read 2-2 with eight minutes left in the quarter.
Fisher scored two more before the first ended, leading 4-2 going into the second. Although
Cassidy Burnash scored quickly for the Golden Eagles, they allowed three straight from Fisher shortly after. They would score twice before the half, making it a 7-5 deficit.
Brockport came out after the break and dominated the third quarter. After giving up an early goal to Fisher, the squad responded with five unanswered goals to jump out in front. Brockport outscored the Cardinals, 6-2, in the quarter to earn an 11-9 lead going into the final quarter.
Logan Hibbard would score one more for the Green and Gold in the fourth quarter to make it a 12-9 game. The extra goal, solid defense, and multiple saves by
Morgan Elmer allowed Brockport to win the fourth quarter and seal the victory.
The Golden Eagles improve to 3-2 and have now recorded wins over two top-25 ranked teams in the country. They get back on the field next week for another road game against RIT. Contest is scheduled for a 3:30 pm start out on Wednesday, March 30
th.
