Brockport, NY – The No. 14 SUNY Brockport women's lacrosse team will play two road games this week. Brockport takes on RIT at 3:30 pm on Wednesday and then will begin SUNYAC play against New Paltz on Saturday at 1 pm.
Top-25 Victory: No. 14 Brockport got back in the win column over the weekend, 12-9, against No. 21 St. John Fisher. Both Claire ODett and
Alayna Foos recorded hat tricks offensively to lead the Green and Gold. With another top-25 win added to the resume, Brockport improves to 3-2 on the season with two wins over ranked opponents.
Upcoming Career Milestones: Both Head Coach

Allison Jennings are on the verge of some impressive milestones. With 198 wins for his career, Coach Wagner is just two away from logging the 200
th win of his career. Jennings is entering the weekend with 97 goals for her career, needing just three to become the 14
th player in program history to break the century mark.
On the Attack: Logan Hibbard is tops on the team with 19 total points, leading Brockport with eight assists to go with her 11 goals.
Cassidy Burnash is first on the squad with 14 goals scored and has 16 total points.
Allison Jennings is tied for second with 16 points coming from 11 goals and five helpers. Freshman
Alayna Foos has notched 10 goals,
Claire Odett has scored nine, and the two both have registered 13 points on the season.
Always Grinding: Courtney Cunningham has contributed all over the field for the Golden Eagles. She leads the team with 22 draw controls, is first with eight caused turnovers, is second with 14 groundballs, and has scored five goals.
Alexandria VanDerKar is second in draw controls with 13, has grabbed six groundballs and caused three turnovers.
In Net: Morgan Elmer continues to hold it down in net for the Green and Gold. She is first in the SUNYAC with 83 saves and a 61.9% saves percentage. She is also second in the conference with her 10.49 goal against average. Elmer has made double-digit saves in all but one game so far this season. She has also contributed with a team-high 15 groundballs and is third on the team with five caused turnovers.
Against RIT: The RIT Tigers got a convincing win over Bard College, 20-10, in their last outing. The win pushed the Tigers up to 3-5 overall on the season heading into the matchup against Brockport. #2 Colette Rigas leads RIT with 26 goals scored and teammate #21 Baylee West has 18 goals so far this year. #34 Aldyn Savage has 16 goals and a team-high nine assists. #0 Linda Nutter has started every game in net this season, making 46 saves for a .371 saves percentage. Brockport has won seven in a row against RIT, including a 19-8 win in the last meeting in 2019.
Opening Up SUNYAC Play: Saturday's matchup against New Paltz will mark the opening of SUNYAC play this year for Brockport. The Hawks are currently 3-4 overall and 1-0 in the conference ahead of this weekend's contest. #15 Katie Zito (23G & 3A) and #12 Kaitlyn Shaw (21G & 5A) are tied for tops on the team with 26 total points each. #18 Hailey Aber has a .472 saves percentage, 10.86 goals against average, and has made 68 saves as the starting goalie. Brockport has won the last 12 matchups against New Paltz and looks to build upon its control of this SUNYAC matchup.
