BROCKPORT, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's lacrosse team (1-0) will host the SUNY Delhi Bronco's (0-2) this Saturday, March 5th at 2 p.m. at Bob Boozer Field.
Last Game Recap
In the Golden Eagles last game against the Morrisville Mustangs, Brockport racked up a 17-6 win over Morrisville this past Wednesday in the teams season opener. Senior
Jack Peterson notched a team-high six points on five goals and one assist.
Patrick Sheridan also put up strong numbers with a career-high four goals to go with an assist to total five points.
In his first game with the Green and Gold Nelson Logan's first goal came from a behind the back shot at the front of the crease on his way to tally two goals and two assists in the game.
John Felice made 13 stops in net for Brockport and teammate
Cameron Kuzniar made two stops after taking over late in the contest. Felice has now recorded at least 10 saves in three straight games, dating back to last season.
NCAA Team Stats
After going 21-for-21 on clearing attempts against the Mustangs, the Golden Eagles are ranked first in the nation in clearing percentage with a perfect 100%. Recording 17 goals on 45 shots, Brockport ranks 11th in the country in shooting percentages with a .378%.
With a .500 percent with a man-up offense, the Golden Eagles are tied for the 15th best percentage in the country going 1-for-2 when a man-up. Against Morrsivlle the team had an 11 goal scoring difference making the Green and Gold are tied for 15th in scoring margin across division III. With 17 goals in the teams first game, Brockport is now tied for 16th in the country for Scoring Offenses. The teams 17 goals in one game tied them for 16th in the USA in scoring offenses.
With the first goal of his career, long stick midfielder
Aidan Fitzgerald and the rest of Brockport's defense sit tied for 28th in the country in scoring defenses with a 6.00 percentage after scoring one goal and allowing six. After causing 12 turnovers on Wednesday, the Green and Gold are 43rd in the country in caused turnover per game.

Keeping the Mustangs in check,
Aidan Fitzgerald's four caused turnovers in one games gives him a 4.0 caused turnovers per game tying him for the sixth highest percentage in the country.
Jack Peterson's five goals in one game ranks the senior attack tied for seventh in the country in goals per game with a 5.00 percentage. With one assist as well, Peterson is also tied for 18th in the country in points per game with 6.00.
John Felice's five goals allowed through seven minutes of play in net gives him a .722 save percentage after stopping 13 shots on goal from the Mustangs. To go with that, his 5.66 goals against average allowing five goals during his time in net ranks him with the 21st lowest percentage in the country.
Looking at the Bronco's
Senior Brandon McGrath leads Delhi's scoring offense as he's recorded four goals through two games with the bronco's while Benjamin Moscatiello currently leads the team in assist as the freshman has tallied two so far this season. Samuel Steng (0-2) has started in goal for the Broncos in both games this season. The freshman has allowed 20 goals through both games and recorded 27 saves. Playing a total of 120-minutes, Steng holds a 10:00 goals against average and a 57.4 save percentage.

Following the Golden Eagles game against the Bronco's, the men's lacrosse team will then travel to Nazareth College on Tuesday, March 8th for a 4 p.m. showdown with the Golden Flyers.
