Senior 
Rocco Santillo scored the game-winner with 34 seconds left as the SUNY Brockport men's lacrosse team locked up the No. 3 seed in the SUNYAC Conference Tournament following a thrilling 13-12 victory at Oswego on Friday night. 
Trailing 12-10 with 7:21 left in regulation, the Golden Eagles rattled off three unanswered goals in the final six minutes of the contest to earn the key SUNYAC victory over the Lakers.  Brockport has now won ten games for just the second time in the program-history, and they have set a new program-record for goals scored in a single season (187).
Carson Colucci found space in the middle and tied the contest up at 12-12 with just 3:15 left in regulation to set the stage for Santillo's game-winner with 34 seconds left. 
Patrick Sheridan had a massive day as he netted a career-high five goals for the Golden Eagles. He also eclipsed 90 career points and will head into the playoffs with 92 career points on 69 goals and 23 assists.  He is one of just nine players in program-history with 90+ career points. 
Santillo and Sheridan both eclipsed 40 points this season on Friday night.  Santillo has 42 points on 34 goals and eight assists.  Sheridan has 41 points on 30 goals and 11 assists. 
Senior goalie 
John Felice stopped seven shots and he has now set a new program-record for goalie wins in a single season with 10.  He now has 20 total wins for his career. Faceoff man 
Ethan Stiles was impressive once again, winning 17-of-28 faceoffs and posting four ground balls.  Stiles has won an incredible 66.7% of his faceoffs this season.
Six different Golden Eagles registered at least two points on the afternoon.  Sheridan led the way with five goals. 
Jack Peterson (one goal, two assists) and 
Rocco Santillo (two goals, one assist) each finished the day with three points.  
Carson Colucci and 
Nate Askin each posted one goal and one assist.  
Jhovanny Olivares added two goals of his own. 
Brockport jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first 15 minutes of the contest behind two goals from Sheridan, one from Santillo and one from 
Blake Palozzi.  
Nate Askin put Brockport on top 5-1 early in the second quarter before the host Lakers began to make their charge.  Oswego outscored Brockport 4-1 in the final 9:44 of the first half to make it a 6-5 contest as the halftime horn sounded. 
The Lakers did not slow down to start the second half, scoring three goals in a span of 4:20 to take an 8-6 lead with 9:37 to go in the third quarter.  Brockport answered with three straight goals to take a 9-8 lead with 26 seconds left in the third quarter of play, but the Lakers tied it up less than 10 seconds later to send the contest into the fourth quarter knotted at 9-9. 
Oswego outscored Brockport 3-1 in the first 7:39 of the fourth quarter to take a 12-10 lead with 7:21 left.  That's when the Brockport defense turned it up and the offense took the team on its shoulders.  
Jhovanny Olivares started the game-winning comeback with a goal at the six-minute marker before Colucci and Santillo helped Brockport complete the comeback. 
Jack Peterson and 
Jack Beck each tied for the team lead with five ground balls.  Beck also caused three turnovers. 
Luke Conway added four ground balls and one caused turnover. 
Brockport has earned the No. 3 seed in the upcoming SUNYAC Conference Tournament and the Golden Eagles will travel the loser of Saturday's Geneseo/Cortland game for the tournament semifinals on Wednesday May 4
th. Game time is to be determined.
