BROCKPORT, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's lacrosse team will host one of its biggest games of the season on Friday night when the Cortland Red Dragons come into town. The game will be contested under the lights at 6:00 pm on Bob Boozer Field. The game will be a Whiteout, so all fans are asked to wear white to the game.

Off to a HOT Start: Brockport is off to one of its best starts in program history with a 7-2 overall record. Brockport is also 2-0 in conference play, joining Geneseo, Oswego, and Cortland atop the standings. Brockport leads the conference with 136 total goals this season.
Home Sweet Home: Brockport is currently undefeated at home with a 3-0 record at the Boozer. When at home, the Golden Eagles have outscored their opponents 60-15. The last time the Golden Eagles were3 home they broke a program record for most goals scored in a single game against Hilbert College by a score of 26-4.
In the National Spotlight: The Golden Eagles rank in the top 10 nationally in scoring margin with a n average of 8.11 and have the No. 1 clearing percentage in the country (.922).

Patrick Sheridan earns his second PrestoSports Offensive Player of the Week Award this season as he helped the Golden Eagles to two wins this past week over Alfred and Oneonta. The team defeated Alfred 9-4 on Tuesday and then defeated Oneonta 9-3 on Saturday. Against Alfred, Sheridan had four points scoring two goals and having two assists while also picking up two ground balls. against Oneonta, Sheridan recorded four goals and one assist for a total of five points while also picking up two ground balls. Sheridan finished the week with a total of nine points on six goals and three assists with a shots-on-goal percentage of 80.0%. Sheridan is currently the second-highest scorer in the SUNYAC conference with a total of 33 points on 24 goals and nine assists this season.
Defensive Player of the Week

John Felice earns his first PrestoSports Defensive Athlete of the Week honor as he helped guide Brockport to two big wins this past week. Playing a total of 115:51 in net in two games, Felice helped the Golden Eagles secure a 9-4 win against Alfred University on Tuesday in which he made 12 saves for a 75.0 save percentage and then made 16 saves in Saturday's 9-3 win against conference opponent Oneonta. In that game he had a 3.00 goals-against average and an 84.2% save percentage. In two games, he finished with making 28 total saves, an 80.0 save percentage, and only allowed seven goals while securing wins in both games to improve to a 7-2 record in goal this season.
SUNYAC Leaders: Santillo (24) and
Patrick Sheridan (24) are tied for second in the SUNYAC in goals scored. Sheridan (33) ranks second in the conference in total points while Santillo (29) is tied for third.
Ryan McCarthy ranks tied for fifth in the league with 10 assists. As a team, the Golden Eagles lead the league with 78 total assists.
