The nationally ranked No. 25 Brockport women's lacrosse team has earned the No. 3 seed in the SUNYAC Conference Tournament and is set to host No. 6 SUNY New Paltz on Tuesday afternoon in first round action at 4 p.m.

How We Got Here: Brockport is winners of five in a row and finished the regular season with a 10-5 overall record. The Golden Eagles went 7-2 in the SUNYAC this season, with their only conference losses coming at the hands of top-seeded Cortland and second-seeded Geneseo.Â
Nationally & Regionally Ranked: Brockport is ranked No. 25 in the latest release of the IWLCA National Poll. The Golden Eagles are also ranked No. 9 (Region III) in the latest NCAA Regional Rankings. The regional rankings are used to determine at-large bids into the NCAA Championships.Â
Weekly Awards: Senior goalie
Morgan Elmer has been named the SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week on four separate occasions this season. Elmer earned the award on Monday after going 2-0 between the pipes and totaling 21 saves last week for the Golden Eagles. She currently ranks second in the conference with 166 saves and second in the league with a 9.61 goals against average.Â

Morgan Elmer ranks second in the country with a 56.8 save percentage this season.
Last Time Against New Paltz: Brockport last squared off against New Paltz on April 2
nd and used a fourth quarter rally to top the Hawks, 12-9. Trailing 9-6 in the fourth quarter, Brockport scored six unanswered goals to comeback for the win on the road.
Allison Jennings recorded her 100
th career goal in the victory as she became just the 14
th player in program-history to reach the century mark.
A Winning Tradition: The Golden Eagles have earned a spot in the SUNYAC Conference Tournament in each of the last 12 seasons. They have appearance in the finals of the SUNYAC Championships in five straight seasons, earning their last conference title in 2019. The Golden Eagles have earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament three times since 2011. They have won 10 or more games in 11 of their last 12 seasons.
History Against New Paltz: Brockport has won 13 straight games against New Paltz dating back to 2009. Eight of those wins have come at home.
Among the Best in the Conference: Claire Odett leads Brockport and ranks fifth in the SUNYAC with 68 total points this season. Her 41 goals rank seventh in the league and her 27 assists are tied for third.Â
Logan Hibbard and
Allison Jennings are tied for 15
th in the conference with 47 points each. Hibbard, the reigning SUNYAC Rookie of the Year, has 30 goals and 17 assists, while Jennings has 34 goals and 13 assists.Â
Hot as a Pistol: In Brockport's recent five game winning streak,
Claire Odett has scored at least five points in each game. She registered eight points twice and a career-high nine points once. 36 of her 68 points this season have come in the last five games.
Leading The Way: Five players have 39 or more points this season for Brockport. Odett, Jennings and Hibbard lead the way.
Cassidy Burnash has 40 points on 32 goals and eight assists, while
Alayna Foos has 39 points on 31 goals and eight assists.
Putting Up Big Numbers: Brockport has outscored its five conference opponents 84-25 in the last five games. The Golden Eagles outscored opponents 217-132 in 15 games this year.
Most Recent Game: Brockprot officially clinched a home playoff game by locking up the No. 3 seed with a win over Oneonta. Brockport defeated the Red Dragons at home, 13-9, on Senior Day Saturday.
