Leading the Charge: Returning for her sixth season at the helm of the Golden Eagles field hockey program is Head Coach Krista Archambeau (Arch-am-Bo), who led the team to its first winning season in 2019 since 2011. This will be the first season under Archambeau where all her student-athletes have come from her direct recruitment.
Â
The Staff: Joining the coaching staff this season are two recent graduates of the field hockey program, Katie Ziemba and Emily Hall. Ziemba and Hall joined the Golden Eagles field hockey family in 2017 during Archambeau's inaugural season as head coach. Both played five seasons for the Green and Gold before joining the coaching staff for the 2022 season. Â
Â
Hall was a staple in the starting lineup for her entire career. As a midfielder, she started in all 66 games the program competed in since she arrived on campus. Throughout her career, the former team captain received credit for a total of 14 points from four goals and 10 assists.
Â
On the field, Ziemba had one of the most successful careers in SUNY Brockport field hockey history.
