Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's tennis team will play its first home match of the season on Tuesday, September 13
th. Brockport hosts Alfred University for the non-conference battle slated to start at 4pm.
 
Weekend Split: The Golden Eagles went 1-1 over the weekend for their first taste of SUNYAC play this year. They started on Friday with a close, 5-4, win over Oswego State on the road. Saturday's battle with Cortland resulted in a 9-0 loss, pushing Brockport's record to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
 
The Saxons: Alfred University has had a strong start to the 2022-23 season, owning a 3-0 record after the first week. The Saxons earned 9-0 sweeps over Fredonia and Pitt-Bradford, as well as an 8-1 victory over Lycoming.
 
Fredonia is Next: On Saturday the squad hits the road to continue conference play. Brockport takes on the Fredonia Blue Devils who enter the week 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the SUNYAC. They have meetings with Geneseo and Grove City prior to hosting the Green and Gold.
 
Looking Ahead: Following this weekend the Golden Eagles will be back home for a SUNYAC matchup with Geneseo on Friday, September 30
th at 4 pm.
