BROCKPORT, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's volleyball team defeated Houghton College on Tuesday night 3-0. The Golden Eagles won three straight sets by scores of (25,21 / 25,21 / 25,14)
Team Stats: The Team totaled 56 digs, 51.0 points, 44 kills, 39 assists, five kills, and two blocks compared to Houghton's 49 digs, 31.0 points, 23 kills, 21 assists, five aces, and three blocks.
Big Night: Andrea Coyle led Brockport in points as she recorded 16.0 points from a season-high 15 kills and one solo block. With 15 kills from 31 total attacks, Coyle acquired a .387 hitting percentage. Along with her offensive stats, Coyle also had a team-high 19 digs in the match.

Jordan Thompson and
Alenna Williamson whom each had eight kills. Thompson finished with 11.0 points from her eight kills, two service aces, and one solo block. Williamson finished with eight points from her eight kills in nine total attempts for an impressive .889 hitting percentage.
What's Next: The Golden Eagles will next open their SUNYAC season this weekend when they host New Paltz on Friday, September 23rd at 6:00 pm followed by Oneonta on Saturday, September 24
